5 Easy Tips to Boost Your Confidence

There is so much power in believing in yourself. We talk a lot around here about up-levelling your career and putting your best foot forward in business, but that stems from having the confidence to go after those things in the first place. When you invest in YOU, that’s when the magic starts happening. It’s not just about reaching goals, but transforming your mindset to own who you are and what you can offer to the world. And let me tell you, YOU ARE FUCKIN’ AWESOME! Yes, YOU! I want you to wake up every morning energized and ready to show us what you’ve got! And the way you feel about yourself directly relates to how you perform in every other aspect of your life. So per the amazing Tony Robbins, I’m sharing my “quick ways to change your state” for boosting confidence!

Blasting Your Favorite Music

This one is a no-brainer for me! Regardless of how I’m feeling, blasting good music gets me ready for anything. This is especially true if I’m in my head about something or just in a bad mood in general. I won’t tell you what to listen to, but I will say blasting gangster rap is my no-fail mood booster.

Dress the Part

When I’m wearing a killer outfit I feel unstoppable. Seriously! Whether I’m going in for a day behind the chair, traveling, or even just meeting up with friends, putting together an amazing look always helps me feel good. If you know you’re going to have a big meeting or long day of work, it’s time to pull out you favorite look! Need a refresher for your closet? This is me giving my official blessing for you to go shopping!

Do What Makes You Feel Beautiful

This goes hand-in-hand with dressing the part. In our industry it’s a little mind-blowing for anyone not to show up fully put together with hair and makeup! It’s what you’re selling, after all!

Put Yourself Out There

I’m going to sound a little anti-confidence boosting here, but hang with me: it’s not about “faking it until you make it,” but instead putting yourself out there and showing vulnerability. Maybe it’s a tough piece of advice or feeling a little embarrassed asking a question. Whatever it is—showing your vulnerability is appealing on SO many levels. It reminds people that you are REAL! It’s okay to admit you don’t know something—own that!

Do Your Homework

That being said—be prepared! Ask your questions, absolutely, but also do your homework. Don’t just wing it. There’s nothing more terrifying or nerve-racking than the feeling of uncertainty. So do yourself a favor and set yourself up for success as much as you can.
