What I Learned At Our Beauty Insiders Brunch

Hi team! Welcome back to the blog!

What an amazing week it’s been so far. Sunday set the tone for a week (hell, a year!) of intention-setting, goal-crushing, and total community bliss thanks to our latest Beauty Insiders Brunch! Since then, I’ve been on a complete high, feeling all of the love from your support, but most importantly: feeling so inspired by your courage and tenacity. It takes so much for us to show up. Truly! It’s so easy to say you’re going to do something, to buy a ticket, to make plans. But to follow through and actually show up? That shit ain’t easy! And yet each and every one of you did. You made time for me, for each other, for myself...and that means everything. ICYMI (or if you want to relive the magic like I do), here are a few of my biggest takeaways from last Sunday’s event.

Our Ideas of What We Can’t Do Are Holding Us Back

Wow. This was such a huge revelation. So many of you were so brave to share what you felt was preventing you from reaching your goals. The most popular reason? Fear of what we don’t know. Whether it’s launching a website, expanding your skillset, or even figuring out how to work a social media account—we prevent ourselves from reaching our goals because of what we don’t know. This may seem like an overgeneralization, but when you think about it, it’s those tiny actions that lead us down the path toward success. One step at a time. The more we allow ourselves to push things off or halt our dreams because of what we don’t know, the further away from our goals we get. Ask for help, research online, hire out a job—whatever it is that’s holding you back, don’t put it off any longer!

Your Community Means Everything

I can go on and on about this, but it’s TRUE! We are nothing without our tribe! That’s what speaks to me so much about these brunch events—the magic that comes from when we meet our people. During the brunch, I had everyone break into groups to go through some conversation starters about business, self, and motivation. Walking around the room, it was so special to not only see these connections forming, but to also listen in on what everyone was sharing. The authenticity and humility in the group were so humbling. When we build each other up, so many doors open for us.

We Have to Keep the Momentum Going

If there’s anything I took away from the brunch, it’s one overwhelming thought: we need more of this! Seeing your response and feeling the magic myself, it’s not enough to have these brunches once every few months. Starting soon, I’m turning these exclusive brunches into a monthly event. We have to keep the conversation going! Each month we can continue our conversations, introduce new topics, and create a space for all of us to open up, dig deeper, and connect on new levels. This space is sacred. The thoughts and ideas you share are sacred. I want our brunches to not only be a day of fun and socializing, but a welcoming environment for you to be you, come as you are, and remember you’re not alone on this crazy journey.

I can’t wait to see you at the next one. Until then, so much love,
